Johnny heads up the clinical team here at The Physios where his primary aim is to ensure our team are delivering the best possible care for our patients.
He graduated from Sheffield Hallam University and quickly became a keen musculoskeletal physiotherapist with extensive post-graduate education. Most notably Johnny has completed the Maitland Concept – an international programme of postgraduate study involving advanced clinical reasoning and manual/manipulative therapy.
Johnny is a keen hockey player and has had the opportunity to work as a sports physiotherapist – involving effective acute injury management and expedited return to play. It was this experience in professional sport that led to the development of our Shockwave clinic for chronic tendon and fascia conditions which now attracts recreational, elite and professional sports people.
More recently Johnny has advanced his skills by training as an injection therapist and independent prescriber which enables him to provide a complete service for musculoskeletal injuries. Johnny has a clinical interest in treatment of the spine and in particular the treatment of headaches and dizziness.
